Helpful tips+ reminders
Painted colors may vary from the digital proof. For example, two similar shades in the digital design be merged into a single paint color due to my paint palette limits. Please use your own knowledge of your family members and your creativity to select shades tailored to each person!
To make sure small details such as eyes and mouths stand out, I recommend using a different stitch style such as a Cross-stitch (X-stitch), a French knot, or a Colonial knot (larger version of French knot).
Due to the small size of each person, I am not able to add glasses or other tiny accessories. However, I recommend backstitching these tiny details on a person after needlepointing the target area. Similarly, backstitching or using two different stitch types is a great way to distinguish the arms from the torso of people wearing long-sleeved shirts, coats, and/or sweaters.
